Even More RuPaul Themed X-Mas On The Way With Drag Race Album

Yas, hunties! It has been confirmed that we are getting even more holiday cheer in the form of men dressed up as woman. Who care about tradition? These ladybois are ready to rock you, and they don't give a damn about morals. Well maybe Ginger does, but the rest don't! So let's check out this sexy and sleek new RuPaul's Drag Race alumni Christmas album!

That's right! All of your faves are back! As long as your faves are Alaska, Ginger Minj, Miss Fame, Sharon Needles, Courtney Act, Katya, Jiggly Caliente, Detox, Darienne Lake, Ivy Winters, Pandora Boxx, Violet Chachki, Phi Phi O'Hara, Jinkx Monsoon, and Manila Luzon, because that's who alls on it. I see a lot of names that I have come to know and love, so I for one am excited about it. People Magazine online broke the story earlier this week, and people have been going crazy! I'm very glad to see Manila back, yet again. She, along with Pandora Boxx (who also is a delight to see) are the only ones that aren't on the more recent seasons, being from the third and second seasons respectively. Nobody from the first season made the cut despite Ru's obsession to this day with Bebe. Weird, right? Willam, Alaska, and Courtney (the AAA Girls) really dominate the album, so it would seem they are the masterminds behind this.

The preorder is TBA, but the release is coming November 13, just in time to annoy the hell out of everyone for playing Xmas music before Thanksgiving!

Willam and Latrice Team Up For Fun Song "Thick Thighs"

Being that I was coming into this song expecting to hear another parody of "Blurred Lines", I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I mean I don't listen to mainstream radio these days so I honestly can't tell you if this is a parody song or not, but it doesn't seem to be. The good news is we finally get to see the dream team of Willam and Latrice team up again (remember season four? The challenge Willam was DQ'd in? They were good!). Give this crazy, fun, body-positive video a good lookover.

Damn. These ladies are doing something right. They have accumulated more that 250,000 views in less than a week. Seeing as these two are among the top fan favorites from the entire history of Drag Race, it seems weird that we had to wait this long to see them in a song together. Looks like Willam finally found time in between his solo tracks and teaming up with Alaska Thunderfuck and Courtney Act or any combination of those two.

This song is very body positive. Willam, who has said on many occasions that he was fat as a child, and Latrice who is very much large and in charge, are the perfect people to get this message across. It's all about still getting that D no matter what size you are. I'm sure Latrice has no problem pulling in the boys, Wilam is proof that if you are unhappy with what you look like, it's possible to fix it and look amazing. Either way you're covered.

"Thick Thighs" has a very typical music video for drag queens. Lots of sexy muscle hunks in tight underwear shaking their junk around while the stars of the video do very little. We have two different shots of the girls, one of them on the couch together, and another of them on separate stripper poles. It's really not much to marvel at, but the sexy boys will probably keep your attention long enough to make it through the video.

Willam is a mastermind of music, and I can't think of a time when I wasn't excited to see Latrice on my computer screen. It's pretty damn obvious why this song is skyrocketing to success. If you are as in love with it as I am, be sure and grab a copy of it on iTunes. On a side note the whole album is worth checking out, including the "AAA Girls", his AIDS charity ride song with Alaska "Ride For Aids" and  a fun little song with Rhea Litre called "Ucc" (I'll let you figure out what that means for yourself).

Willam Recreates Her Hit "Boy Is A Bottom" In Spanish

Yeah. It happened. I mean she has been performing this live for a while, so I guess a video was to be expected. It's a little bit awkward, it's a lotta bit awesome. And maybe in between somewhere it's just OK. Either way, it's here and it's Willam, so I'm gonna fill you in on it.

Prepare for the most obvious statement of the year. Detox and Vicky aren't present. This makes the entire video kind of weird feeling. Yeah, Willam is the sort of mastermind behind the song, but Detox and Vicky Vox really added so much hilarity to the work. Once you get over that one detail, the rest of it is somewhere in between completely genius and a hideous train wreck. I'm still working on where it is.

The video quality took a big step up from the original here. We have a lot of Marco Marco trademarks and a lot of bright and vibrant colors. Although most of the video is on green screen, it is very well done green screen so it really works for the video itself. Although it looks shiny and new, the "plot" of the first video was actually much more entertaining and funny, leaving a lot to be desired in the follow up.

The Spanish was pretty well spoken. It's obvious that she had someone else translate it for her, as her Spanish singing didn't sound very natural. From the basic Espanol I do know, I can say that she did speak rather accurately, and the message of the track does translate efficiently.

Certainly I can't be the one wondering why there's no Alaska and Courtney Act in this, right?

Sorry I MIssed It: Willam Belli, Alaska, and Courtney Act Are American Apparel Ad Girls

How the hell did I miss this? I mean, sure, I saw that Willam Belli, Alaska, and Courtney Act were getting contracts with American Apparel to be models and put out a line of t-shirts, but how did I miss the song and video? Was it because they were so similarly titled? I have no clue! But what I do know is that I know about it now, and if you don't yet, now you will too!

We start off the song with Courtney belting out some amazing (albeit autotuned) vocals, and Alaska having her amazing and quirky comedy with lines like "I like it when you don't touch my hair" and "anus". I was actually kind of surprised that Willam didn't take center stage until a good way into the song (around 30 seconds in), where Courtney had to actually call out the fact that she'd not said anything yet. OK. You've got my attention. [EDIT: It's been brought to my attention that Courtney calling out Willam was about the laser hair removal joke. This makes sense. I took it more as Courtney was trying to get a response from Willam who, up til now, had been sort of staring off into space.]

In true Willam fashion, the songs are a good balance of comedy and listenablity. Far too many times "funny songs" are not something you'd play in your car, but all three of these girls know how to carry a tune, and how to be funny. Great combo. Even when Courtney's comedic timing is off, her two co-stars really pick the pace back up. The jokes and shade extend not only to their Drag Race family, such as calling out Nicole Paige Brooks, but also to pop culture with Ariana Grande. And also there's a poop joke.

But it's the video that completes the experience. It's quite simple. Willam, Courtney, and Alaska look like beautiful women and lay around while near-naked men hang around. That's pretty much it. BUT The guys are really hot. So it makes up for it. Right? Quality wise, we've come to expect that when Willam is involved in a music video it is going to look good as far as production goes, so that's no shocker here.

After the drama of DWV's breakup, it's nice to see that Willam has a few people balancing him out again. Willam is funny, but his former co-stars offered their own brands that were far different, and that's exactly what we get with Alaska, the quirky alien, and Courtney, the pretty snob. While the dynamics are a bit different than DWV, I feel like AWC (trust me, that's the best acronym seeing as the other options are CAW and WAC) has a great vibe to it, and I would love to see them work together on another musical project in the future.

Kevin Mikal Drops Yummy New Video

I haven't had a chance to mention Kevin Mikal on the site before, I could give you a ton of excuses as to why, but you all know why this video is getting attention. It's got Willam. Oh, Willam. I mean, at least I didn't cover their song "Blurred Bynes", right? Check out "Candy Yum Yum"!

Ok, so it's not only because Willam is in it. I mean it's got Honey Mahogany (whom I interviewed! Yay me!) and the lovely boys of Gay of Thrones (if you haven't seen their hilarious take on hit TV Show Game of Thrones, check them out on Youtube!). Jokes aside, this song is pretty addicting. While it's not groundbreaking, it is fun and upbeat, which is something I always love posting about here on Taking Over The Universe.

The song is an over-sexualized metaphor using candy instead of, well, you know. It features Willam heavily as the "video ho", feeding Mikal all sorts of candy and looking stunning on her own. Kevin is very gorgeous, and likes to push the boundaries of masculine and feminine -- meaning he's completely ripped and "manly" but isn't afraid to wear half shirts and booty shorts. Honey Mahogany is only featured in one sequence, and Julian and Jonathan only pop up occasionally. I guess it can be difficult to fit in that many guest stars in as short a time as a music video.

This track comes from his EP Candy Yum Yum released in May of this year. It features four other equally fierce tracks that are worthy of any music collection. Pick it up today on iTunes.

Lady Gaga Teams Up With Drag Race Divas For New Single Promo

Well that title is a mouthful, but it really tells you exactly what you need to know. Earlier this week, Lady Gaga's new single in what feels like ages (after having a new one every week back in 2011/2012) "Applause" was released on the internet, and it has blown up since. Her official lyric video features some very familiar faces, too, from our favorite reality tv show (competition, as not to offend our housewives) RuPaul's Drag Race.



"But GaoSalad," you plead, "You hate Lady Gaga." No, that's not true. While I can only tolerate maybe three songs from her last album, I have to say she does have a knack for making good pop music. It's just that she is so overhyped that I try to give other acts attention over her and other headliners. But this is RuPaul's Drag Race we are talking about here. I can't just leave this alone. This has to be known.

In the video, Gaga is actually the camerawoman, and is filming various drag queens perform to her new single, which exploded all over the world last week. In said club (which I have no idea the name of), many Drag Race alumni made the scene to perform. Among the crew were Shannel from season one, Shangela of Season two and three, Morgan McMichaels of season two, and Detox from season five. There was even a two second clip from backstage of Willam hogging the spotlight again.

God I love Willam.

On a positive note, I have to say I like this song's feel far more than the previous era of Gaga. If this is any indication of what we are getting with Artpop (and remember, I'm skeptical because "Hair" was supposed to be a preview for her last album, but it turned out to be the only outstanding track for me) then I will be happy. I wasn't too crazy about the subject of the song, being a bit simplistic to be coming from a writer who has sewn many innuendos and interpretations into her music in the past, but it's so damn catchy that I can't help but enjoy it.

Right now the album is shrouded in mystery. It's available for preorder on iTunes, but all that is revealed is that it's coming out November 11, and there will be 15 tracks in total. As of now, "Applause" is listed as the final song, but that is also subject to change. Even the album artwork is simply the single cover for "Applause." Tomorrow is supposed to shine even more light on the situation, but I couldn't let my Drag Race faves get passed up another minute.

UPDATE: The official music video is out now! I personally wasn't crazy about the direction they went in. What do you think? Better with or without Drag Race?

Detox Tells Us About Her Sillicone With New Song

She gets me every time. I always say "Oh, I'm just going to ignore this new Willam release." But then I actually take a look at it, and I realize how genius it really is. I mean, I am obligated to bring you all the best of the best, and Willam is the best. Oh and Detox and Vicky are pretty amazing as well.



Yes, that is a parody of Robyn you are listening to. "Dancing On My Own" is actually one of my favorite tracks by her, which was the main driving force behind this post. Well, I can't exactly say this is exactly the truth. Detox quickly became my favorite of the latest season of RuPaul's Drag Race. Unlike the previous Willam/Detox/Vicky (penned DWV for this video), Detox takes the lead over Willam, giving the fourth place diva the spotlight.

This track is pretty hilarious to say the least. It addresses the over-hyped statements made on the show itself. On one of the early episodes, Detox went through a lengthy list of procedures she had gone through with. "Silicone" talks about her going through a fictional botched procedure.

The video is a bit tame compared to things we've seen from DWV in the past. The video only consists of two looks for each girl -- one in a warehouse and the others walking down a street sidewalk -- both of which show the girls in a positive light. Vicky certainly steals ever scene she's in with her over the top comedy. I have to say that if Vicky isn't in the next season of Drag Race I am quitting everything.

Willam Belli Takes "Rupaulogize" A Step Further

Oh lord it's here. Remember the Drag Race Season Four Reunion? When Willam dropped the big bombshell "Rupaulogize"? Well it's back. Bordering in on the line of dead meme territory, Willam has brought back her fan favorite phrase from near death in a new form -- song. And video, of course.



Oh, Willam. You never cease to amuse me. Willam is always bringing her personal bizznass into her music. First we gotta hear about how she's trouble getting kicked off Drag Race, then we gotta hear about how she only did it for some big schlong. Now? She's still pissed she didn't get on Drag Race All Stars. To be fair, wouldn't you be, too?

Willam has been good about balancing parody tracks with original material. This particular song, a parody of OneRepublic's annoyingly catchy "Apologize", opts for the laughs over the dancablitiy. The great thing is that although it is campy and awkward (I mean she does jokingly call out Ru on a few occasions), it still manages to be fun. I guess what I'm trying to say is that there is no nice way to say it. If you don't think Willam is funny you are dumb.

As per usual Willam fashion, "Rupaulogize" has a video to go along with it. The whole thing takes place in a roller rink, with two sexy guys tagging along (anyone else digging the guy with the 70s hair?). The whole thing feels like an odd take on "Public Affair" by Jessica Simpson, which would be hilarious if this was on purpose due to her take on Jessica in Season Four's Snatch Game.

A special treat for the fans in this video features yet another Drag Race star. Playing the role of Ru mid-way through the video is season four winner Sharon Needles. She says many of Ru's catchphrases, which there are plenty to choose from, and spends most of her time looking stunning. Also in the video in less noticeable out-of-drag cameos are Season Five's top three Alaska and Season Three winner Raja. They are credited as "Roller Trash". Damn.

Willam Is Still Funny

Who'd have thought? After all this time (actually, for most of America she's only been in the spotlight for a year, right?) Willam Belli is still the funniest person ever. No really. Don't believe me? Get a load of this. Emphasis on "load".




Do you believe me now? Do you really need more proof? Good. Let's just accept that Willam is one hilarious bitch and move on.

Apparently The Stylish, a popular YouTube creative channel and team have decided to give breakout star from Drag Race Season Four Willam Belli his own show. Each week, Willam will be picking apart the worst of the worst from YouTube's archives of makeup tutorials. And he isn't shooting just for the small fries, he goes directly for the big name, including Jenna Marbles.

She goes through each video, serving up the gay, drag version of Tosh.0. He spends most of his time hitting on the guys in the video, and commenting on things in the background that you probably didn't notice or care about. Somehow, probably due to the fact that he can make anything funny, this series just works. Don't go into this expecting to actually learn anything about style or makeup, but you will be guaranteed a few laughs along the way.

2012's Biggest Misses: Willam's Other Releases

Where to begin with this one. It's not exactly that I accidentally missed all the other stuff Willam has put out over the course of 2012... it's just that she releases so much freaking music all the time! This lady never stays still for too long, and for only being a household name since January of last year, she already has a resume longer than some people who've been going at it for years.

Willam Belli songs can be categorized in two ways: Original songs that are pretty good and hilarious amazing parodies. So let me think here for a moment. I covered Chow Down and Let's Have A Kai Kai, both parodies, as well as Trouble, both the original and Jared Jones mix. That leaves us with four or so songs and a few videos. Let's just cover the highlights shall we?

Let's start with "Love You Like A Big Schlong". This is probably the single most hilarious parody in the history of all history. No, seriously. The song is an ode to the infamous disqualification on Drag Race, as she was taking congigal visits from her boyfriend in her hotel room. Apparently getting the D is more important to Willam than winning. I mean she's obviously the biggest star from the show this season. Sharon who?

She released a few more original songs over the course of 2012, too. "She Doesn't Know" added a flavor of rock to her growing resume. It is also probably the most vocally impressive of the lot, but at the same time it is the least polished sounding. Maybe I know the person who wrote it, maybe I don't. I should probably say more nice things about this.

Also, "Stand By Your Man" is bad. Like... bad bad.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that Willam makes better parodies than original songs -- in my opinion. "Trouble" was fun, but short. So far all of her parodies have been not only funny, but legitimately good songs. "Love You Like A Big Schlong" is still one of my favorite songs of the year. "Chow Down" was a massive hit, and "Let's Have A Kai Kai" is the top parody of the world's biggest gay anthem. Still, though, seven(ish) singles (not just songs or album tracks, but singles) in a year is a very impressive feat. She certainly knows how to jump on the money train while it's still in business.

Also I feel the need to express how much I love the LYLABS video. Not only does it have the hottie pit-crew member Shawn in it, but there really are a lot of huge friggen schlongs throughout. It's pretty NSFW, so if your boss it hovering over you shoulder, about to get onto you for not doing your job and instead reading the world's greatest blog, you probably shouldn't give him a reason to question your sexuality at the same time.

Top Five: TOTU's Biggest Controversies

 It's the last day for 2012, and I plan on going out the only way I know how -- by highlighting all the crazy madness that goes on around this joint. Over the past twelve months tons of whacky shenanigans have gone down, ranging from stories involving some ultimate shade to haters doing what they do best. Now let's start off with the best, the better, and the worst of the year.

5. Blood On The Dancefloor Battles Rumors

For starters, this October goth-glam group Blood on the Dance Floor experienced a bit of prejudice when it came to some items from their past. In a removed post from Buzznet whom were given the exclusive premier of their new video to, they bashed the band and lead singer Dahvie's past.

Let's Have A Parody - Top 3 Kiki Parodies

Face it -- "Let's Have A Kiki" is the most infectious song of 2012. It's fun, it's catchy, and best of all, it's gay. Really, really gay. Like... really gay. This being said, it is a giant magnet for homos and queens everywhere, and not just to sing it or lip sync. These bitches are making their own versions. I have searched the net, and I've found the Top 3 Kiki Parodies.

The F-Bomb is dropped in all of these. Viewer beware. NSFW. Etc.

3. Sherry Vine - Let's Have A Pee Pee



Oh, Sherry Vine. I am not a resident of NYC, so I wasn't aware of who she was until her duet with Pandora Boxx a while back, but I've kept my eye on her ever since. She is spinning a tale about a bad Craigslist experience. I think we can all relate to that. No? Oh... Well anyway, she talks about having a trick from the famed hookup site offering her a little extra to squat over him and let the river flow. Sounds gross right? No word yet on if this song was inspired by true events (my gut says no, but Sherry is cray).

On a side note: Damn, Michael Musto gets around! Them NYC queens have him whipped.

2. Let's Have a Kai Kai


I promised The Willam Show was canceled, but I just can't help talking about her. She is just so freaking hilarious. This time she's teamed up with Rhea Litre to make a "moderately satisfying" song. Yes. This song is even gayer than the original, which nobody ever thought possible. She gathers up a bunch of drag queens to have a huge fake-woman orgy in her apartment. She even calls out Manila and Sahara, Ru and Bunny, and the fierce Sharon and Alaska. The nerve! The thing that pushed this song over the edge was Willam's moaning in the chorus. Can't. Get. Enough. Seriously. Just can't.

1. Lets Have A Pee Pee (Again)


Bet you didn't see this one coming. Well, if you know me well enough you probably saw this one coming from miles away. Jiz and the Mammograms is a parody of the classic 80s tune Jem and the Holograms that turns them into drag queens who collect abortions for money. Yeah, it's pretty messed up. This one gets far more graphic than the other two, but that is what makes it great. Jiz is not afraid to go there. Jiz is not afraid to go beyond there. Everything about this song is perfect from the crabs, to Jiz trying to stumble out of recording to pee, to "drain, flush, wipe". This is the perfect parody.

Well it is for those who like potty humor.
Don't you dare judge me.

I'm sure there are more parodies out there, but these three are the best examples I've found. You guys shocked that I didn't put Willam as number one? Maybe it'll get her to tweet something mean to me. Funny mean. Not mean mean.

The Beauty That Is "CinderFella"

I know, I know. I am always late to the party. This video hasn't been out too long, but everybody and their brother is freaking out about it. All I was hearing was "this American Idol guy" made a "gay music video." Well I finally watched it and -- wait why did nobody tell me this had Willam in it?



Todrick Hall was a contestant on the 2010 season of American Idol. I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't remember him (I mean I don't because I haven't watched that show since the first season), mostly because he was eliminated when they were still sending people home in groups of four. I guess somebody took notice of his talents because he fell out of the sky and swooped everybody's favorite gay (?) Disney Prince (???) off his feet.

Oh and the prince is freaking Lance Bass. Did I mention he was my first boy crush?

The video has a ton of cameos including Willam and Shangela, fan favorite contestants from Ru Paul's Drag Race, as well as Ru's right hand lady Michelle Visage. I instantly flipped out when two of my pop idols, Kimberly Cole and Aubrey O'Day appeared on the same screen, dancing and singing together. And then of course there is Prince Lance.

The video follows the basic story of Cinderella, only with a gay little twist. He is kept from going to the ball, and is visited by his sassy fairy godmother to spruce him up and win the man. The video is just over six and a half minutes long, and the song is undeniably cute. It really does feel like a Disney movie both audibly and visually, making it every little gay boy's dream come true to finally have a prince that he can aspire to steal from some undeserving bitch that had him first (Sorry Todrick! Actually, I had plans as a kid to steal Beast from Belle. I have issues. Moving on.).

The audio version is not up yet on iTunes, and people are about to riot until it is. Todrick has a great voice and I am very glad that he is continuing on his musical journey. I could easily watch this video over and over and over again. Did I mention Lance Bass makes an amazing prince? I did? Well I guess I've repeated myself enough.

Willam Belli Is Obviously Dead

Yup. You heard it. Willam, the funniest bitch on TV ever, and everyone's favorite hooker has been offed. Trust me -- It's legit.

According to this random nobody new site, Willam Belli has fallen to her death atop some mountain in Australia. Yup. "R.I.P. Willam" might as well be trending on Twitter because it is impossible to lie on the internet or even post something without any evidence or backing. The internet is always 100% truth.

Jesus, this article was hilarious. Not only does it look and sound completely fake, they also call Willam an actress, which is all good and well, but "she" does have a penis, which makes "him" an actor whether he plays a male or woman on screen. It's like they just pulled a random name off IMDB and killed her. Oh well.

Willam has posted from the grave on both Facebook and Twitter multiple times since her demise, leading this investigative reporter to conclude that even in death, his ghost is a fame-whore. A freaking hilarious fame whore. It's gonna be hard to watch Drag U and All Stars (cmon, we all know she was cast on it!) having to see such a beloved queen in the lime light after death.

The internet is a stupid, stupid place sometimes.

Drag U Season 3 Cast and Promos Revealed!

Drag U is the first of (now) two spin offs from Ru Paul's Drag Race, and stars the contestants from all seasons of the show to give biological women the confidence of drag queens. In each episode, three queens serve as mentors to three ladies, and each episode has it's own winner. It may not be the most exciting thing ever, but it is awesome seeing all of my favorites back on TV again.

It's that time again. For the past two years, I have been watching Drag U in the summers to keep me held over until Drag Race brings in new queens. Thankfully, we now have Drag Race All Stars to keep us even more emerged in the world of Drag. This means we only have to go a few months without her beloved Ru Paul.

The cast for this semester at Drag U has been announced, and I have to say that it is a bit... shocking to say the least. Of course, from the Drag Race Reunion, we know that Latrice is going to be on the list, but take a look at who else is making an appearance. The professor's list includes: JuJuBee, Manila Luzon, Raja, Raven, Shannel, Alexis Mateo, Mariah, Chad Michaels, Willam, Morgan McMichaels, Pandora Boxx, Delta Work, and Sharon Needles.

Yes. Willam. Surprising, no? I mean I always loved her, but she was constantly criticized for her make up, beard, and reliance on designer materials. I guess her hilarious one liners got her in, and being that she was one of the break out stars of season four, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. It will be exciting to see Willam again.

Also added to the roster this year are Raja and Delta, leading me to hope for a Heathers themed episode, given that Manila is back for another season. Alexis is on the list, too, which isn't too much of a shock, but still a bit odd that they waited so long to add a top three contestant to the list.

It really does look like this season will be amazing... as long as they put Willam and Pandora Boxx in a lot of episodes. Given that Willam is in the promo for the new season (below), I'd say that she is one of the main focuses.

Jared Jones Remixes Drag Race Royalty

I've quickly become a fan of Jared Jones. He is becoming popular in the music community, and it's easy to see why. After doing a mix for Ru Paul's smash "Sexy Drag Queen", he has now set his sights on new targets. Jared is releasing not one, but two mixes with queens from the hit TV show Ru Paul's Drag Race, Willam, resident bad girl from season four, and Manila Luzon, the runner up from season three.

First up, he did a special remix of "Trouble", the club single from season four's Willam. I really like this version of the song (which is already available on iTunes!) because it not only extends the depressingly short track, but it also give the song an entire new raw and dancey feel. The clip below won't even do the full track justice, and you can get an even longer preview on iTunes. Give it a shot, and let me know what you think.




His other remix, which has a release date of "very soon" according to Manila, may be the best remix to come from Mr. Jones yet. I love the placement of the vocal notes, using actual bits she sang but rearranging them so that it sounds completely different. I love that it will be a "radio mix" as well, meaning that is a bit more mainstream and keeps the original flow of the song. I have been waiting months for this one, Ms. Luzon, so "very soon" needs to speed up a bit!




Jared Jones has certainly become the go-to mix artist in the gay realm of music. I guess doing exclusives with Ru Paul will do that for you. I hope that he can continue to work with the Drag Race ladies, as well as other up coming artists such as Jipsta (for whom he remixed "Lover Who Rocks You", and did a freaking fantastic job).

RuPaul's Drag Race - Frenemies

I kind of don't want to talk about this episode, so pardon me if my jokes fall flat this week. It's getting down to the wire, and the girls I truly want to see win are about to start packing their bags. This is probably the most controversial episode to date (even more so than sending Pandora Boxx home). I just don't know how to react, really.

Drag Race Gossip - The Willam "Bye"

So what if this is nearly a week past, I'mma still give my two cents on the issue. Many people were beyond shocked when Willam "Bye'd" Ru on the main stage after being said she is safe. Honestly, I thought she was just being a bitch, which is what I love about her, but apparently I was wrong. On her site, she gave the details on what she says went down.

"Yea, I BYE’d RuPaul…but here’s what really went down on ep 4.2:

Right before I said BYE, The Princess was asked to lip-sync. RuPaul then told me I was safe and I asked him if i could lip-sync for The Princess because I was the team captain and wanted to take responsibility (I have no clue if The Princess would’ve let me but I wanted to offer). But Ru, without even making eye contact said “You’re going off script” and as soon as he got out the last word i was like ok peace in my head so i just threw out a “BYE” and walked off.

so yea. Bye."

 

I'm not sure what to think about this. On one hand, I can see this happening, but on the other hand, I can see this being damage control. I mean, not everyone likes bitches and when you are rude to Ru, it's easy to make a whole lot of enemies.
