Osvaldo Supino Reveals Third New Single Is "Wet Dream"

Late last year, my main Italian squeeze Osvaldo Supino released a new album called Behind The Curtain, and like an idiot I missed out on reviewing it. Luckily he hasn't given up on this project just yet, and has released yet another single off of it. This one is hot, and definitely worth checking out. Lets look at "Wet Dream".

Osvaldo has always been a really fun and cheeky artist. His songs always flirt with sexuality, and rarely ever come out and say one way or another, although he is self identified as gay. It's so great to have music that the LGBT population can relate to without being overly flamboyant or out there. The track honestly feels like something Britney Spears would have recorded, making Osvaldo very radio-ready. I'm not sure how far his fame reaches in his home land, but he could do very well in the United States.

The song has a lot of fun lines like "Is that a gun in your pocket or are you happy to see me?". I have always loved his humor, and it really shines through here. This song was one of my favorites when listening through the album for the first time, so I'm glad to see this was chosen as a single. Though there has been no official word, it is pretty safe to assume that he is going to be making a video for this one.

While lyrically it's not anything ground breaking, Osvaldo really knows his way around pop music and he definitely knows how to pump out some fun music that can get your booty shaking. Mr. Supino really should be a much larger LGBT icon than he is, at least here in the United States. He's cute, funny, and makes good music. What more could you ask for?

If you like what you hear, run over to iTunes and grab Behind The Curtain and give this man some love!

Osvaldo Supino Shows Us His Radio

Oh, Osvaldo. I haven't been following you for long, but already you've been mentioned on the site three or more times now. How is that possible? I tell you it's possible because this guy never slows down. He released an EP last month, and he's already on the move to release a video for the next single off of it. Let's watch the video clip for "Ma Radio".

I have to say this wasn't my first pick for a single. I don't even think it was the most obvious pick for a single, either. While I like the song, it's highly repetitive chorus really gets to me. What I can say about this release, though, is that the video makes me like the song more -- a lot more.

By this I mean the video is actually really interesting, borderline cute, and something refreshing. Keeping with the much less sex appeal tactic of "I Have A Name", the video for "Ma Radio" focuses less on him shirtless with buff men and more on having fun. He spots various situations where the people are bored or stressed, and he literally slams his boom box down by them and makes them start dancing. Strangely enough, the ladies don't seem to have a lot of rhythm, but those construction workers sure knew how to drop it.

This video came as a bit of as surprise, but the fans have already reacted. Apparently his homepage was flooded to the point of the server going down in order to see the video. YouTube has only clocked around 900 views, but as anyone who's ever posted a video on YouTube knows, they take forever to update their counts. I guess it will be another couple of days before we see the real results here.

Album Review - Osvaldo Supino "Exposed"

Osvaldo has popped up on the TOTU radar in the past, more specifically with his last single "I Have A Name", the premier track off of his debut full album "Exposed". This intense pop adventure has finally been released worldwide, and you'd better believe I'm all over this one. Let's take a look at this prime example of indie pop.

Osvaldo Supino Has A Name (And A New Video)

Osvaldo is back! Not that I've covered him before. Until recently I was very decidedly United States focused, so I more or less skipped over him previously. Then the thought crossed my mind, "Hey, if it's legal to view their videos, why not cover them if they are talented?" Well Osvlado Supino is quite talented, and with the recent release of his much anticipated new single "I Have A Name", I believe it's quite past due time I introduce my readers to this interesting fellow.

So that bit about the legality of getting his music may be ignorance on my part. Most of his stuff is up on US iTunes (although an EP of "I Have A Name" quoted on his fanpage seems to be missing). So I guess I have no excuse. I can say that he has been on my radar for some time, and his last single had me dancing. So why cover this song instead of them all?

Because this track is damn hot. What really makes this song work is that it has such an uptempo beat, while the vocals remain calm and under control. While I love "Mannequinz", the song was a bit on the crazier side. I can appreciate "I Have A Name"s calmer side, showing us that he is not only multifaceted, but also an accomplished singer.

While the video has a lot less scantily clad sexy boys running about, it does paint a more mature picture of a growing artist. Osvaldo takes a bit of a backseat to the story about not wanting to be the "other woman" in a sense. The characters all play out their stories, showing that they don't wish to be ashamed of who they really are. Supino does have his chance to shine at the end, giving us an intimate look into his world just as that octave change occurs.

I guess what Im trying to say is SORRY OSVALDO! I'll be sure and keep a better eye out for what you have in store. Perhaps enlighten us as to if we will get your EP. Or better yet, when we can see material for you forthcoming album "Exposed" -- mostly because I don't have enough time to learn Italian!

Check out his body of work on iTunes, and be sure to grab this track... and a few others, too!
