Myla "Not Kim Kardashian" Sinanaj and Adam Barta Are Not Angels!

I know, I know. Sometimes I get wrapped up a bit too much in psuedo-reality-stars, but when Adam is attached to the project, it definitely gets my attention. This time, he's teamed up with a girl who is famous apparently for not being Kim Kardashian. I guess you can get famous for literally anything these days. Oh well. At least the song isn't bad.



Yeah. That just happened. Well there are a lot of good things and a few bad things. Let's start with the fact that this one definitely isn't a train wreck. I don't know what they were thinking with that last Tan Mom song, but this one seems to be a bit more thought out. I also would like to point out it's nice to see him return to more serious music. I know that this song isn't totally comedy free, I mean Myla is picking fun at herself a bit throughout the song, but at least it's not one big laugh fest.

On the down side it still doesn't feel as polished as his Adam's previous music. If you were to compare this to "Q&A" or "Give Yourself Up", it just doesn't feel as spot on. I also have to say that the quality of the video, as well as it's direction, seem to be hit and miss depending on what time of the video you tune into. Some parts have Myla and Adam rocking it out, looking natural, and having fun. Other times they are awkwardly standing still on a bartop.

Enough negativity, though. The track comes with a message for those who've followed Myla up until this point. She's ready for you to get to know her for her. She's not an angel, but that doesn't mean she's all bad, either. Speaking of not being bad, she's actually not a bad singer, either. This is the biggest surprise to me since, well, Adam did a song with Jersey Shore's Angelina.  Who'd have thought?

Adam & Angelina's "Serendipity" Video Is Finally Here!

All I can say is it's about time! The single has been out since December of 2012, so this video has been long overdue. We finally have it, and I can honestly say I am feeling pretty good about the end result. They had been trying to keep it under wraps (although a few reports saw them in Times Square and leaked a bit of news), and now we finally get to see this "surprise ending" they've been teasing us all about.



Ok, so it wasn't that shocking. The video builds up the entire time letting the audience think that Angelina and Adam are on their way to get married to each other, when in reality they are actually having a double gay wedding. This was a definite response to the extreme negativity received from her anti gay marriage speech during a viral video. The man she was debating with, Adam Barta, is her co-star for this song. Despite this being a bit of damage control, it comes off feeling a bit more sincere than I had expected it to.

What wasn't sincere is the infamous kiss. The reports on this video that predate it's release made things sound hot and sizzling between Angelina and her "wife". While Adam (who is openly gay) had no problem making out with his on screen love interest, Angelina (who is openly not gay) had a tougher time. She barley gave that girl a peck. She's not your grandma, Angie. In fact, she's way hotter. Give her that kiss she deserves.

Little jabs aside, the video is a nice move in the right direction. I wish I could see homosexual rights pushed to the forefront of media more often. Too often gay artists either clutter their videos with hot mancandy or just ignore the topic all together. This is a refreshing feeling to see two people coming together to speak out for gay rights, and show that it's not just a battle for homosexuals, but their friends and families, too. The video gives off an overwhelming sense of positivity and warmth.

Adam Barta Releases New Song With Jersey Shore's Angelina

Yup. You heard right. Remember that so-called feud a while back? Well that is a thing of the past. In actuality, while they may have disagreed on the topic of gay marriage, Adam is more than just a "gay guy" and Angelina is more that just a "bitch." They are indeed friends and had been planning on a project together for quite some time now. And finally, it has come to fruition. Get into "Serendipity."

Yup. Adam is at it again. Fresh off the heels of an Octomom frenzy -- doing both a song with her ("Sexy Party") and a tribute song to her ("I Need A Doctor") -- Adam has once again called upon one of his celebrity friends to release a song with. This time it is the most notorious bitch to reality television since Omarosa, that girl from The Apprentice that everyone hated. "What is the result with a reality star singing?" you may ask me. The answer is not a complete disaster.

I'm not saying that I expected the song to be a train wreck. I don't think either of them would have let something slip out, let alone be up for purchase, that was too rancid to hear. What I meant was that when people think of reality TV stars releasing music, they often think of certain Real Housewives or Farrah from Teen Mom. The leap from being on TV to having talent is a bit too far for many. Even Angelina fell short with her first attempt "I'm Hot", but this time her voice sounds better and her ego is much more deflated.

For this attempt Angelina sounds far more confident in her voice, and over all the track sounds far more polished. As for Adam, this is another step in the right direction as far as becoming more polished. As much as I love "I Need A Doctor," I fully admit that it wasn't the most perfect thing to come out of pop music in the past. Majik Boys did a great job of providing a sugary beat to match the sweet lyrics that both singers serve up.

Is "Serendipity" going to change the face of pop music? Probably not. Will it change your opinion of Angelina? Maybe. Will it spice up your music library? Hell yes it will! As a matter of fact, the track is up for purchase on iTunes. Getchu some.

Octomom, Barta, Angelina and More Debate Online

Now-a-days, being a celebrity is about more than being in music or movies. It's about personality. It's about interacting with fans, whether it be via Twitter, Facebook, or their own websites. Luckily for us, we live in a digital age where you don't have to be in the same city as our favorite celeb to get a piece of them. The fame-craze has just gotten bigger, it would seem, with the debut of a website that allows you to not only speak with them, but also to debate with them.


New social media site Deeyoon is all about debates. As long as you have a webcam and a microphone for your computer, you can participate. The site covers a wide array of topics from sports to politics, allowing anybody to voice their opinion on what they think. There are very few rules (like don't get naked, guys), allowing for people to express themselves, no matter how unpopular their opinion may be. People can click "agree" under those they side with, to determine a winner for each room, meaning you don't have to be on cam to participate.

Recently, the site got a huge boost when an array of celebrities, reality and music alike, have agreed to appear on the website to debate both with each other and fans (and probably haters, too). The long list of names includes my buddy and established singer Adam Barta, MTV's resident Jersey Shore bitch Angelina Pivarnick, do-er of all things media related Nadya "Octomom" Suleman, former Real Housweife Alex McCord, and many others.

In the preview I have seen, Adam Barta and Angelina Pivarnick (shown in the video above) went toe to toe debating gay marriage. The whole ordeal was very intense, and both of them stood their ground regardless of what the other had to say. I really have always loved Angelina -- I'm always a fan of the bitchy girls who never apologize for doing what they do, but I was saddened to hear her views on the matter. Things get very heated towards the end when Angelina uses the fact that she isn't gay as her defense for being against the matter, causing Barta to go on an extended rant where he informed her that the laws aren't up to her, and we all walk away learning that taxes are important.

These stars are not shy about their opinions, and they are ready to let loose. The madness all starts October 28th.
