Drag Race Season Five Cast-Off Roundup Part Final

I find it so weird that it's Tuesday and I'm not reviewing Drag Race, so in it's place, in one last desperate attempt to fill the RPDR-less void, I am doing the final piece of the Cast-Off Roundup. Here yet again, we will see what I thought of the girls pre-show to what I think of them now. The top three are definitely some shocking ladies, so it should be a fun romp.

First up, Roxxxy Andrews.

"That bitch has a lot of x's in her name. She has some of the biggest hair I've ever seen! She makes it quite clear she doesn't do porn, which is questionable to say the least. She has a good sense of humor, and has a good flare for accessories. I definitely want to see more of her."

Unfortunately I saw far too much of her. Her sense of humor only held up for a few episodes. She did always seem to look on point, but that was just about all she had going for her. As shown by the polls, she may be one of the most hated queens in Drag Race history. I'm not kidding. I can honestly say she is my least favorite top three contestant ever.

Second place is Alaska.

"Ok, I'm not trying to throw shade (I know this bitch is pretty popular) but does anybody else find it really suspicious that she's tried out for Drag Race year after year and failed each time, yet her boyfriend becomes an icon and suddenly she's loved by thousands? Hmmm. Anyway, as for the interview, Alaska comes off sounding batshit insane talking about being an alien. She didn't look near as busted as some of the queens last season, but she's a bit too cray cray for my liking. Who knows, maybe she will surprise me."

She did surprise me. She was FANTASTIC. She stumbled for the first few episodes, but picked it back up, and eventually became one of my top picks. Yes, she did enter the show under suspicious circumstances, but she made up for it ten fold by the end of the show. Did she deserve to pass some of the episodes unscathed? No. Did she deserve her spot in the top three? Yes.
And now for our superstar, Jinkx Monsoon.

"She may not look super polished like the rest of these fishy bitches, but she is truly funny -- like Pandora Boxx level funny. She's also got some Tammie level crazy going on, too, but not insane. I love the character she has put on, and if she goes home first all hell will break loose. Can we get a camp queen to the end for once? She could be the one to take it there. Get ready bitches, cause it's Monsoon Season!"

Looking back on it, she really was the best possible mix of Pandora and Tammie. This one may not have been my first choice for the winner of this season, but that doesn't mean she didn't deserve it. Jinkx was a great queen and had a heart of gold. This was the first season where I thought the winner truly was the best of the top three. Alaska gave her a close running... Roxxxy did not.

There you have it. The final three. They may not be who we all thought would be left in the end, but I think this season actually had less bull crap eliminations than the last (I mean disqualifying the best queen to ever be on the show?), so I guess these three may just be the best of the best... well except I think Detox should have been there. Care to guess who's place she could take?
